Ise
Foundation has supported the Shanghai Biennale 2000 held at
the Shanghai Art Museum form November 6, 2000 to January 6,
2001.
The Shanghai Biennale 2000 is the first international contemporary
art exhibition organized by a government institution in China.
Mr. Toshio Shimizu, independent curator and advisor for Ise
Foundation, was invited as one of curators.
The Shanghai Biennale 2000 Japanese Committee has been established
in Japan to help the Shanghai Biennale 2000. The headquarters
were opened at Ise Foundation Tokyo Office.
